This dunk highlights his extraordinary agility and explosiveness for a player of his size. He masterfully navigates into the paint and adjusts his shot mid-air over the towering defender. In my opinion, this marvelous play deserves to rank higher than LaVine’s 360 dunk on a fast break.
Reflecting on all these unforgettable moments, I considered a few honorable mentions, which I’ll share below. Rose’s one-handed alley-oop against the Atlanta Hawks likely just missed inclusion in the top ten. It’s hard to believe this was accomplished by a point guard!
Lauri Markkanen’s dunk over Nikola Vucevic is another moment that may have faded from memory but deserves recognition today!
Derrick Jones Jr.’s time with the Bulls might not be remembered for long, yet his dunk against the Nuggets is certainly noteworthy. He leaped from just inside the free-throw line DURING a game!
