ST. PÖLTEN,Austria – The St. Pölten Firmencup badminton tournament aims to unite team spirit,athletic ambition,and fun into a single event.
Who Can Participate in the Badminton Tournament?
Teams from companies, authorities, associations, higher education institutions, and similar organizations are eligible to participate. Teams may include players from different organizations. Multiple teams can be registered per organization. Each team consists of four to six players,and teams can be all-female,all-male,or mixed. No prior badminton experiance is necessary to participate. However, each team is limited to a maximum of one club player with a low skill level (i.e., not ranked Top, A, or B).If a team cannot field 4 players due to illness, the team can reduce his number to 3 players.
Beginner-Friendly Badminton Tournament
badminton skills or match experience are not required for participation. The tournament welcomes participants with little to no experience, “Professionals” are not allowed, and higher-level players will provide support and coaching from the sidelines.
On-Court Support
Participants do not need to know all the rules, as a supervisor will be present on each court to provide assistance.
Tournament Details
A participation fee of €120 per team includes racket rentals, natural feather shuttlecocks, a team photo, on-court coaching and support from Bundesliga players, and a practise training session on april 10 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
