JEONGSEON, South Korea – Park Roche Resort & Wellness in Jeongseon, Gangwon province, is introducing a new sound wellness programme called “Docent Sound Concert.” This unique healing experience combines expert commentary with carefully curated musical masterpieces,presented under a different theme each month.
An Immersive, Themed Musical Journey
Each concert, lasting approximately 50 minutes, features professional voice actor narration that delves into the background of the musical works, the lives of the artists, and key listening points. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the music and uncover hidden stories within the compositions.
Architectural Harmony: The Glass House Experience
The concerts will be held in the resort’s Glass House,an architectural marvel featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The interior incorporates natural wood, brick, and suspended plants, creating a serene and immersive atmosphere.
Impressionism Kicks off the Series
The inaugural concert in April will explore the Impressionist era, showcasing the delicate and dreamlike works of composers Claude Debussy and maurice Ravel. Future concerts will broaden the sound wellness experience with diverse genres such as opera, musicals, and film soundtracks.
Free Admission, Limited Seating
The “Docent Sound Concert” is offered three times daily—11 a.m., 4 p.m., and 9 p.m.—and is free of charge.Seating is limited to 20 participants per session on a first-come, first-served basis.
